Buy inline skates – adjustable for kids, teens & adults
Inline skates bring speed and riding fun to asphalt, cycle paths and the skatepark. At Apollo you will find size-adjustable inline skates that grow through several shoe sizes, sit firmly and arrive ready to ride. Our two series, Super Blade and Champion Blade, combine a comfortable softboot with a stabilising hard cuff – a comfortable fit and solid support in one.
Which series suits you?
Super Blade
Size-adjustable inline skate with softboot and hard cuff – comfortably padded and stable at the same time. Ideal for children, teenagers and adults who want to skate safely and comfortably. Available in many colours.
Champion Blade
Technically identical to the Super Blade – softboot with hard cuff, size-adjustable and ready to ride straight out of the box. The Super Blade and Champion Blade differ mainly in their base colour, so you simply pick your favourite look.
The right size – inline skate size chart
All Apollo inline skates are size-adjustable – every size covers several shoe sizes. Choose the size in which the current shoe size falls in the middle, so there is still room to grow.
S – 31–34
from approx. 5 years
M – 35–38
from approx. 8 years
L – 39–42
teens & adults
Tip: For half sizes, choose the next size up. Inline skates ideally sit half a size tighter than your everyday shoes – that way your foot is held firmly and you avoid pressure points.
Inline skates or roller skates – which suits you better?
Inline skates have their wheels lined up one behind the other: that makes them faster and more agile, but asks for a little more balance – ideal for fitness, cycle paths and the park. Roller skates with four wheels on two axles stand more stable and are often the easier choice for the very first attempts. Both train your legs, glutes and core while being gentle on the joints.
Frequently asked questions about inline skates
From what age can children skate on inline skates?
From approx. 5 years, as soon as basic coordination is stable. Our size S (31–34) is made especially for younger children. With full protection – helmet, knee and wrist guards – a safe start is quite possible from this age.
What is the difference between the Super Blade and the Champion Blade?
Both series are built to the same technical specification: softboot with hard cuff, size-adjustable and ready to ride out of the box. They differ mainly in their base colour – you simply pick your favourite look.
Are the inline skates suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. All Apollo inline skates are made for asphalt and smooth outdoor surfaces. After use in damp conditions simply wipe them dry; if they start to squeak, add a drop of bearing oil to the ball bearings.
What protective gear do I need?
The minimum kit for children and beginners: helmet, knee pads and wrist guards. In a fall you catch yourself with your wrists first – which is why wrist guards matter especially. You will find matching protective gear with us as well.
How do I look after inline skates?
Wipe wheels and bearings dry after use in damp conditions. If they squeak, apply a drop of bearing oil. Rotate the wheels regularly for even wear and check the fastenings after every session.
